Windy Hill’s Shoot For The Moon (Luna), Handler: Michael Moroz
Came to the line at 8:26 am
Flyer (long flyer) - Luna took two loops under the arc then went out to her bird.
Middle - She cut the left corner of the first pond, then went down to the corner of the second pond. She went out and to the bird with a turn in front of the guns.
Left - She went down the terrace and headed towards the middle bird. Luna had to be handled away and out to her bird.
KC Back To The Future (Marty), Handler: Roger Fuller
Came to the line at 8:05 am
Flyer - Excellent line to the bird.
Middle - Marty went down the terrace into first pond. Going right of the hay bale, he went out in the left corner on to the levee. He took the land, (unable to see if he hit the second water) and ran behind the guns to the bird.
Left Bird - He went into the first water, then over the levee. he hunted around the willow but kept going and came out to the right of the guns for a few turns then moved left to get his bird.
Test Dog #1 - Golden Male - Marty
Came to the line at 10:39 am
Left Bird - Marty got into the small pond and went up the hill to cross the road and get his bird.
Long Bird - he got into the first piece of water. Going high up over the hill he went into the second pond then went straight up the hill to his bird.
Test Dog #2 - Labrador Female - Luna
Came to the line at 10:47 am
Left Bird - Luna went down into the first pond, up the hill and crossed the road. One quick loop and she was on her bird.
Long Bird - She got into the narrow piece of the first pond. Exiting she up and down the hill to the second pond, getting out she went right of the guns getting wide right. He hunted the hill deep before she came down on the left of the mound and to her bird.
Marty came to the line at 7:42 am
Left Bird - Beautiful line across the levee straight to the hen.
Right Bird - Marty angled down the terrace deep left of the gunners. He turned right towards the bale of hay then got his bird.
TC came to the line at 7:49 am.
Left Bird - Excellent angle down the terrace. she fell off to the area right of the gunners. A few loops and she started to switch. The gunners came out to assist her.
Right Bird - TC took the line towards the guns. Getting left and deep, she hunted the open field and both sides of the hay bale then got her bird.
Female Test Dog, "TC," came to the line at 2:37 pm
Right - Went straight to the bird.
Left - Straight to the fall area for a quick turn and got it.
Male Test Dog, "Marty," came to the line at 2:40 pm
Right - One tight loop just to the right of the mark and a quick turn to grab the bird.
Left - Excellent line to get his bird.
First test dog is a Labrador female Luna.
Right Bird - Luna ran down the hill and swam the pond and made two small loops and got her bird.
Left Bird - Going down the hill, Luna avoided the water and headed back to the right guns. The long guns had to give loud cries to get her attention for the bird.
Second test dog is a Golden male Marty.
Right Bird - Marty went down into the first pond then crossed the road. One move to the left put Marty directly to his bird.
Left Bird - He got into the left pond, crossed the road going right of the cover to the bird.
Marty, GM was the 1st test dog to go.
Flyer - Marty made a couple of loops and had his bird.
Rooster - Going up the right of the mound, he curved back left at the top of the hill to the bird.
TC, LF was the 2nd test dog to come to the line at 7:46 am.
Flyer - TC had a hunt before she found her bird.
Rooster - She took a line left of the mound and hay bale getting deep of the guns. She came back to the fall area and got her bird.
Please Note: After the first two test dogs completed the series, the judges decided to change the test. This is why we only have one test dog to run the test after the changes were make.
Test Dog Labrador Female #3 - Windy Hill's Shoot For the Moon "Luna" with handler Mike Moroz came to the line at 11:39 am.
Flyer - Swimming bird - Luna went straight across the terrace on a left angle down into the water and straight to get her bird.
Long Bird - She went down the terrace and into the big pond and toe nailed the tip of the long point. She swam to the far shore, got out and turned left to go across the hill on to her bird.
Luna completed this test at 11:46 am.
Test Dog 1 - KC Back To The Future, GM "Marty"
Came to the line at 7:48 am.
Go Bird - Marty went out towards the guns then hooked left and got behind them. He carried this line on to the right side and got his bird.
Bird 2 - He went out past the guns on the left side and got deep. He turned and worked his way back down to the bird.
Test Dog 2 - Just A Tubb Of Croc's, LF "TC"
Go Bird - TC has a great angle going out. She went under the arc, then go a little deep. She made a quick turn that put her on the bird.
Bird 2 - On a great line, she came out just deep of the tree. A turn there then a turn deep, she came back to the tree and then to her bird.
Our first test dog, Labrador female "TC" with handler Mike Moroz came to the line at 11:40 am.
Right Bird - TC went down the hill and into the pond, exiting and going straight up the hill to get her duck.
Left Bird - Down the hill on an angle, TC came up the far side to the right of the guns. She looped deep then went tot he correct side of the guns and got her bird.
Our Golden male test dog, Marty with handler Roger Fuller came to the line.
Right Bird - Marty went down the hill and straight to this duck.
Left Bird - Going down the hill and into the water, as expected, he squared the exit sending himself up the wrong side of the guns. Half way up the hill, Marty took a hard left and went straight to the bird.
Our first test dog KC Back To The Future (10/2/18) "Marty" Golden Retriever Male, came to the line with owner/handler Roger Fuller came to the line at 7:58 am.
Flyer - Marty went straight to the fall area, then started a hunt deep and to the right. Taking several loops he came back to his bird.
Memory Bird: He came in right of the fall area, then looped back to the left and on his bird.
Our second test dog Just A Tubb Of Croc's "TC" Labrador Female came to the line with owner/handler Mike Moroz at 8:05 am.
Flyer: Straight to the fall area and on her bird.
Memory Bird: Direct line to her bird.
