Callbacks to the 9th Series

 14 dogs are called back to the 9th Series: 4, 5, 7, 13, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 30.

6 Dogs dropped: #3, 8, 9, 12, 15 and 23.

We will be starting the 9th series with dog #22.

Conclusion of the 8th Series

The day started with the 8th Series, Land Double with two hen pheasants at 8:01 am with dog #7 coming to the line. We had a bit of a mist to start the morning but things cleared up well. About 8:55 am we had a quick re-bird and was back with dog #22 at 9:01 am.

This series saw some excellent dog work and a few issues, with having two of our earlier dogs have to be picked up. 

The series ended at 9:45 am with dog #5, for a total of 1 hour 46 minutes of running time.

We will back soon with the callbacks to the 9th Series! The excitement is building, we are getting closer to the crowning the 2020 NDC!

Left Bird - Tucker went down the hill tight to the levee. He went under the arc of the throw then went deep and wide. He hunted his way back to get the hen.

Right Bird - Nice line towards the mark going straight to the fall area. He missed the bird but turned and came back for it.

Left Bird - Axl angled towards the guns getting under the arc then continued deep. One loop and he came straight back to get his bird.

Right Bird - She angled towards the guns, then turned right of the cedars behind the hay bale. Hunting deep, she back to the tree line and then to her bird.

Right Bird - Boomer ran high on the levee then dropped heading mid field and got deep. He was heading for the left gun. continued to hunt deep and behind the guns. He got around the cedar then worked the center of the field moving to the right bird.

Left Bird - Boomer took the same line to mid field and got deep hunting left and right. He ended up getting picked up on this bird.
