22. Seaside's The Saint, "Simon," BLM, Jason Baker

Flyer - Simon went under the arc and got a little deep, but he made a quick turn left and went out and got his bird.

Middle - He went into the first pond right of the bale, then angled across the left corner of it. Simon then angled down left of the guns and got into the field deep of the fall. He quickly came back around to the point to get the bird.

Left - Excellent angle across the field. Simon carried this angle through the first pond, over the levee and into the second pond. Still holding the angle, he turned going straight to the fall area and his bird.

21. I'll Have Another, "Ace," BLM, James Roberts

 Came to the line at 10:40 am

Flyer - Ace took his time getting to the fall and his bird.

Middle - He went into the first pond right of the hay bale, then had a nice angle towards the bird. Exited the water and angled more towards the guns, then entered the second pond. On exit he turned right and hunted deep, but he came back and the bird.

Left - Ace angled across the field and entered the first pond. He exited then went straight across the point and into the next pond. He came in behind the guns, made a loop deep and got back around to the point and his bird.

20. Oklahoma's Sooner Be Tatum, "Tatum," BLF, David Graf

Came to the line at 10:25 am

Flyer - One loop short then Tatum moved deeper to get his bird.

Middle - Going down the terrace and right of the bale, Tatum angled across the left corner of the pond. Then went to the second pond and crossed going straight to the fall area and then the bird.

Left - She angled across the field and got into the first pond on a nice angle. She went across the point then squared the entrance on the second pond. Tatum went into the guns wide right., then made one big loop around the gunner then went straight to the bird.

18. Third Creek's Miss Money Penny, "M," BLF, Lori Morgan

Came to the line at 10:13 am

Flyer - Got It!

Middle - M went into the first pond right of the hay bale. She cut the left corner of the pond. Getting to the second pond, she went down the bank and swam across to come in just right of the guns. M then cut left then quickly back right to get her bird.

Left - She angled down the field and squared her entry into the first pond. She swam on a great angle towards her bird and PINNED IT!

16. Mudslinger's Teerific Vision, "TJ," YLM, Clint Avant

Came to the line at 9:57 am

Flyer - Extended hunt but TJ got this long bird.

Middle - TJ got into the first pond right of the hay bale. He angled across the left corner and got out then went down to the second pond. Swimming the pond towards the gun, he got over the point, behind the guns and with a turn right to his bird.

Left - Crossed the field getting into the right corner of the pond. TJ angled the pond towards the guns. Getting over the levee he went into the second pond heading to the guns. TJ cut straight in front of the guns to get his bird.

13. Hot Lips Houlihan, "Houli," CLF, Delana Potter-Meiers

 Came to the line at 9:42 am.

Flyer - wide left while hunting the area and got it.

Middle - Houli went down the terrace entering the first pond. She angled left to the far side towards the guns. She went into the second pond left of the guns. Going out on the point wide left, she crossed it and got to the small piece of water then to the far shore. One big turn right, then back for the bird.

Left - She angled wide left going down the field and into the left side of the first pond.Exiting, she went over the levee into the second pond getting wide left of the mark. She turned in to the point, but missed the bird and got deep. She came back and got it.

7. Legacys Coal-Fired Simmer Down, "Ash," BLM, Cynean Bartlett

Came to the line at 9:28 am

Flyer - Ash had a hunt for the bird. He worked between the guns and the fall area to get the bird.

Middle - Ash go in the first pond right of the hay bale. Ran to the second pond and swam to the area right of the guns. making two loops on the point, Ash got his bird.

Left - He angled down the hill to the near right corner of the first pond, then angled across it and got to the levee. He swam the second pond and squared the exit to the field behind the guns. Two loops deep right then he worked his way back to the area out on the point and his bird.

5. Wilson's Duck Farm Tucker, "Tucker," BLM, Clint Avant

Came to the line at 9:16 am

Flyer - Good Job

Middle - Tucker went down the terrace and missed the first pond. He ran to the second pond and entered then swam to the area under the arc of the throw and quickly got his bird.

Left - Excellent angle crossing the terraced field and into the pond. He continued the good angle into the second pond. On exit, he changed direction and squared out behind the guns and hunted deep center  until he came back around to his mark.

4. Croc's Appetite For Destruction, "Axl," BLM, Christian Alt

Came to the line at 9:03 am

Flyer - Axl took two tight runs in the fall area and got his bird.

Middle - He got into the first pond right of the hay bale on nice angle going to get to the far side of the pond. He ran to the second pond, then ran around to the right end and went straight to his bird.

Left - Axl ran at angle down the terrace and into the first pond. Going over the levee and into the second pond, he entered on a great angle. Axl came in to the left of the point. Swimming wide, her turned in towards the shore and came back to get his bird. Nice Job.

10th Series - Test Description Update

UPDATE: A third gun was also added to the long mark to further increase visibility.

After both of the test dogs completed their series, the judges sent the grounds crew out to cut the willow that is on the line for the left bird way back. This will increase the visibility of the gunners from the mat.
